Rival petition begs US not to return Piers Morgan to Britain
12/27/2012These are tough times for CNN host Piers Morgan, for it seems that no country wants him. Following his statements calling for stricter gun control in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., shooting, a petition appeared on the White House's "We the People" petition platform calling for Morgan to be deported back to his native Britain. But we still might be stuck with him. A rival petition has now gone up on the site calling for Morgan to be kept in America. One point of the petition points out: "No one in the UK wants him back." The petition has more than 3,600 signatures out of a needed 25,000 to warrant a response from the White House. [Source]
