If you ever start to think that the younger generation is losing its musical talent because of all that electronic crap on the radio, hold out hope. Because here’s a teenager wielding a bass that’s almost the same size as he is and laying down an awesome groove. Pipoquinha, who hails from Brazil, is rocking out to the tune "Rei Artur," which is Portuguese for King Arthur. (We wouldn’t have called that tune particularly medieval, but whatever it is, he sounds amazing.) The only question is, really, how much better can he get? And since he’s learning on this giant instrument, will he have to keep using progressively large basses as he grows to maintain his style?
