Deer and dog's interspecies friendship is seriously sweet
11/8/2012You see animals of different species making friends and you wonder why it's so difficult for Homo sapiens to get along. The PBS documentary "Animal Odd Couples" profiled Pippin, a deer fawn whose best pal is Kate, a Great Dane. Their owner Isobel Springett says the duo have developed "a loving relationship" since she adopted Pippin, who was abandoned by her mother.
