Deer and dog's interspecies friendship is seriously sweet

You see animals of different species making friends and you wonder why it's so difficult for Homo sapiens to get along. The PBS documentary "Animal Odd Couples" profiled Pippin, a deer fawn whose best pal is Kate, a Great Dane. Their owner Isobel Springett says the duo have developed "a loving relationship" since she adopted Pippin, who was abandoned by her mother.
