Pit bull adopts baby goat known as 'goat puppy'

A dog in Oklahoma has been blinded by love. Piper, a pit bull mix, has such a maternal soft spot for a baby goat that she seems not to have noticed that the four-legged creature isn’t a puppy. The two are so close that their owner Julie Free even named the goat “GP” – short for goat puppy. When GP was born he wasn’t very sprightly, but Piper nuzzled him and stayed by his side until he got better. Recently GP injured his back leg, but he’s been accompanying Free and Piper to companion dog school and still finds the energy to climb on top of his patient ”mom” for a snooze in their shared crate.
