Pitt's newest kicker has the worst-ever last name
7/6/2012Pitt's newly signed kicker hasn't been fitted for a set of shoulder pads yet, but he's already the butt of a thousand easy jokes. Why? Because he has the unlucky-sounding last name of Blewitt. Chris Blewitt isn't just a name, it's a complete sentence, one that the by-all-accounts-talented high school senior might not hear very often. Blewitt won a starting job -- and a scholarship offer -- after an impressive showing at Pitt's summer kicking camp, which included drilling a 55-yarder in a "game-winning kick exercise." Blewitt will make his Pitt debut in the 2013 season and we so hope he doesn't live up (or down?) to his name.
