Pizza deliverer claims man punched him for forgetting garlic knots
8/31/2012Let this be a lesson to pizza deliverers everywhere: Don't forget the garlic knots. A delivery driver in Vero Beach, Fla., told police 346-pound Robert Wheeler, 48, punched him in the face for not bringing those delicious little clumps of pizza dough with him. He then instructed the driver to "give that to the person working on the phone" at the restaurant. Wheeler admitted to punching the man, but insisted that it wasn't over the knots. Instead he claimed the restaurant owed him money. Whether or not the garlic treats were the cause, Wheeler was arrested for misdemeanor battery. [Source]
