Jerk airplane decides to go sledding at Denver airport
11/11/2012Haven't you ever seen a big pile of snow and felt the uncontrollable childlike urge to just dive in and play around? Well, apparently some airplanes feel the same way. A Southwest Airlines 737 traveling from Oakland to Denver on Saturday night landed in Colorado amid heavy snow. While the airplane was turning off the runway and on to a taxiway, it slipped and skidded off the pavement into the snow-covered grass. Thankfully, no one was hurt by the plane's wintry shenanigans, and the passengers reportedly all stayed calm, but they did have to exit the aircraft and walk back into the airport in the snowstorm. We hope they packed some warm clothes. [Source]
