Cellphone call in cardio room gets woman banned from gym

Shortly after Tina Santoro Asmar said "Hello," Planet Fitness told her goodbye. The Massachusetts woman says that the gym revoked her membership after she took an "unexpected call from her doctor's office" while she was working out on an elliptical machine. When confronted by a manager, Asmar said she told him she'd "be off in a minute" and didn't want to leave the workout area because her iPad was connected to the cardio equipment. According to her, the manager was "enraged" and threatened her, but according to a club co-owner, she was the one who got shouty and has had "repeated issues … with cellphone use."
