Playboy worms its way into India with redesigned Bunny costumes
12/21/2012Playboy magazine might be banned in India, but its trademark Bunnies are about to make their first appearance. The company has redesigned its signature costumes to show maximum T&E (tail and ears) but only reveal a modest show of skin. Unlike their American counterparts, the Indian Bunnies will skip the corsets in favor of a two-piece sari, which features a sheer, full-length skirt. "Being able to introduce our brand in a responsible and meaningful way in India was our key objective," said Matthew Nordby, Playboy's executive vice president. Indian officials have threatened to close the country's still-unopened inaugural Playboy Club if the Bunnies flash too much flesh. [Source]
