Sean Bean honors vets with haunting poem 'Anthem for Doomed Youth'

British actor Sean Bean has sent a wave of collective tingles out today with this poignant rendition of "Anthem for Doomed Youth." The World War I poem by Wilfred Owen has gone viral with Bean's interpretation, rendered amid a stormy, grey backdrop for Veterans Day (known as Remembrance Day in the U.K.). As Bean notes, the "monstrous anger of the guns" and "holy glimmers of goodbyes" make it hard not to be moved by the haunting verse, whether you're remembering someone special today or simply showing support for those who've fallen.
