'Poison pill' may have ended ex-banker's court case
6/30/2012Right after being found guilty of arson, cops say ex-Wall Street banker Michael Marin may have swallowed a "poison pill" — leading to his death in the middle of courtroom. Marin was convicted of setting his house on fire to escape his mortgage. Five minutes after the sentence was read, he put his hands to his mouth and promptly collapsed — leading to speculation that he had swallowed something poisonous. "They are leaning towards that. Obviously if you watch the video it looks like he does put something in his mouth," a spokesman for the sheriff's office told Fox News.
