Police admonish car vandal with whimsical nachos pun

Cops! They can't spend ALL their time saving people and giving out speeding tickets. Once in a while a crime comes along so ridiculous it calls out for a punch line, and Seattle's finest are ready to fight criminals with puns if not punishment. After a vandal shattered a car window near the University of Washington and left tortillas scattered on the floor of the car (without taking anything), the local forces dispatched a wry news release that said in part, "The Seattle Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind car prowlers that you shouldn't break into something that's nachos." Cute, sure, but are puns the best way to handle criminals who flauta authority?
