Police add insult by issuing ticket to man who ran himself over

11/29/2012

When the brakes of his 1987 Chevy failed, Brian Reynolds, 40, reportedly tried to stop his truck by opening the door and putting his foot out. When that didn't work, Reynolds tried to turn and drive up a hill, but he fell out of the open door and his own truck rudely ran over his leg. Police in Salem, Mass., reported that they found Reynolds lying in the street with a "minor leg injury" after this unfortunate chain of events that saw the wayward truck finally stop by a fire hydrant. The cops issued Reynolds a $35 ticket for driving with defective equipment, proving once again that some days, a guy just can't catch a break. [Source]
