Police learn it's not OK to strip-search young teens at school

12/6/2012

Police officers are under investigation after strip-searching high school students in search of a missing five-euro bill. Police were holding a seminar on moral courage at the Friedrich-List Economics School in Munich, Germany, when a girl complained a five-euro note (worth $6.50) had been stolen. Apparently having waited their entire lives for the opportunity, cops had the students strip. Girls' bras were opened and boys' shorts were searched. One 14-year-old boy complained an officer shone a flashlight up his butt and the unsavory episode ended with many of the students in tears. No word as to whether the money was found. [Source]
