Police spend $33M on new cars, but cops don't fit in them

The German state of Hesse spent almost $33 million on a patrol car upgrade, swapping the cops' Opel minivans for sleeker-looking sports cars. The problem? Their new wheels are SO sleek that the officers can't fit in the seats while they're wearing their guns, nightsticks and other equipment, and the tiny windows are terrible for visibility. "I need to see out of the back every minute, every second," officer Lothar Hölzgen said. "That's a safety matter for us." Don't worry officers, we're laughing with you. WITH YOU.
