Poor deer loses road battle with Corvette racecar

​Let's get it out of the way: This video, while not gory, is also not for the faint of heart, as it shows the demise of a deer simply trying to cross the road. Unfortunately, that road happened to be part of a racetrack at West Virginia's Summit Point Motorsports Park, where a racer in a Corvette Z06 experienced an unavoidable high-speed impact with the animal. These types of impacts are violent and destructive, which the video shows in slo-mo detail (it's amazing that anyone could drive the whole way home without realizing she had a deer stuck in their grille).
