Porn industry will challenge 'intolerable' condom law in court

11/7/2012

The porn industry will rise again, vowed L.A. pornographers. After Measure B, a law requiring pornographic actors in Los Angeles to wear condoms during sex, passed last night, industry leaders wrote a letter in which they wrote, "We believe that the law is not only unconstitutional on the grounds of forced expression, but also falls within the jurisdiction of the state... Therefore, we will file suit and challenge this intolerable law in court." Though "intolerable" is an over-dramatic, whiny way to describe a prophylactic, an appeal process will certainly be preferable to the pitiful sight of thousands of porn stars packing up their wagons with Lucite heels and skimpy short shorts and migrating East to Las Vegas.
