College pranksters accused of baking pot brownies, getting class baked
12/10/2012Feeding someone pot brownies without giving away the secret ingredient might be funny fodder for a goofy comedy. Doing it in real life? Not so smart. Two University of Colorado students, Thomas Ricardo Cunningham, 21, and Mary Elizabeth Essa, 19, allegedly brought a plate of brownies to share with their class and didn't reveal they were laced with marijuana. A professor and several students were later taken to hospital complaining of "dizziness" and "paranoia," and police say Cunningham and Essa 'fessed up. The duo was arrested on suspicion of four felonies, including inducing consumption of controlled substances by fraudulent means. [Source]
