Pot dealer donates 'Nuggets for the Needy' proceeds to Sandy relief
11/15/2012Sandy's destruction has touched many people, even those masters of commerce, drug dealers. An unnamed Brooklyn, N.Y. pot dealer has claimed that he donated $700, or half the proceeds of two days' sales, to victims of the hurricane. The charitable dealer said he was moved by images of Breezy Point and gave his clients the heads up about his plan. His "Nuggets for the Needy" operation did make the dealer "a little extra money," but by funneling half of his ill-gotten gains to those who need it most, this semi-altruistic weed merchant has already bought 50 wool blankets for those still without power.
