Mystery teens claim they're behind weird picnic table pyramid

8/12/2012

A bizarre picnic table pyramid has appeared in a park in Spokane, Wash. for the third time in the past week — and now the talk has drifted from whether it's an urban equivalent of crop circles to another possibility: civic terrorism. See, this time the perpetrators left a note atop their creation, complaining that the parks department spent $500 to disassemble what four teenagers erected in 25 minutes. "Please stop wasting taxpayer dollars," they scolded. While the city's art director ponders the question of whether it can be considered art, police are on the lookout for high-schoolers who get good grades in geometry and keep their rooms neat. [Source]
