Bingo drinking game makes prez debate easier to swallow

Tonight is the first presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Since it’s likely that the two candidates will mostly recycle the same arguments (and zingers!) that they’ve used for months on the campaign trail, why not break the repetitious recital of talking points in the most American way possible — by drinking! Among the myriad debate drinking games, Mother Jones has helpfully updated its popular 2008 bingo game for this year’s election. The game is simple — every time a phrase on the board is mentioned you take a sip of your drink. Get a bingo? Down that sucker. Among the phrases: 47 percent, Bain, Solyndra and Middle Class.
