Priest-on-priest parking brawl ends with a bit-off ear
11/12/2012Crazy stuff happens all the time in Australia, so normally two octogenarians battling for a parking spot in one of the most sparsely populated places in the world might not grab headlines. However, toss in a bit-off ear and the fact that both combatants are retired Catholic priests and you've got yourself a future script for a "South Park" episode! Or just a, um, "news bite" (sorry) from Perth. Eighty-year-old Father Thomas Henry Byrne has been ordered to stay a minimum of 32 feet away from his injured neighbor, 81-year-old Father Thomas Joseph Cameron Smith, while both parties prepare for the, ahem, hearing.
