Prince William doesn't want to live in a world without rhinos
6/19/2012Prince William has some harsh words for any rhino poachers out there: You're "extremely ignorant, selfish and utterly wrong." With his gran's Jubilee celebrations winding down, the crusading royal is getting back to business raising awareness of the devastating effects of the illegal rhino trade. He told BBC he had a personal interest in the cause because a rhino he'd befriended in Kenya had fallen victim to poachers. "Sadly he ran into the wrong people and he is now on someone's mantelpiece somewhere probably." The prince, who works with wildlife charity Tusk Trust, also warned that if action isn't taken to save the creatures it will be "a tragic loss for everyone."
Do you think the world needs more awareness about the effects of poaching?
