Prisoner tries to escape from hospital by hailing cab
7/4/2012One prisoner's bid for freedom was thwarted when a taxi refused to pick him up on account of his jail garb, say Sheriff's deputies from Beaver, Pa. Holden Wooley, 23, was being treated at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital for a reported seizure when police say he made a run for it in his prison stripes. After the taxi refused to pick Wooley up outside the hospital, it's alleged he high-tailed it into nearby woods, where he was later apprehended with the help of a police dog. Conveniently, Wooley was treated for the ensuing dog bite at the hospital he had earlier fled before being bundled back to jail.
Has a cab ever refused to give you a ride?
