Prudish penguin researcher disgusted by those dirty birds

Now it can be told: penguins are perverse. But the depth of their depravity was deemed too kinky for public consumption when vurry-proper English scientist George Murray Levick first witnessed it in Antarctica 100 years ago. So his chapter on their sexual mores was suppressed, like early uncensored versions of "Lady Chatterley's Lover," until recently unearthed. And it's hot stuff: homosexual behavior, auto-erotica, necrophilia. That's right, sex with dead penguins - though further observation has provided a reason. "A dead penguin," reports bird curator Douglas Russell, who found Levick's lost work, "lying with its eyes half-open, is very similar in appearance to a compliant female." Oh. OK, then.
