Acclaimed children's chorus sings Sandy Hook Elementary's school song
12/20/2012The PS22 Chorus — made of up students at Staten Island's Public School 22 — has made an appearance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and opened the New York Stock Exchange. But perhaps no performance was as difficult or as heartfelt as this one, in which chorus members sing Sandy Hook Elementary's school song. "I thought it would be a really nice idea if we did a tribute to Sandy Hook School, the victims and their families," director Gregg Breinberg says. After singing the song, several of the chorus members offer their thoughts. "They stay right there," one boy says, pointing to his heart.
