PSY apologizes for singing 'kill those f***ing Yankees'

12/7/2012

PSY, the South Korean pop music sensation responsible for the song "Gangnam Style," has apologized for a performance he gave 10 years ago in which he protested the presence of American troops in his country and rapped “Kill those f***ing Yankees ... their daughters, mothers...”  In a statement, PSY said the performance came after two South Korean schoolgirls who were fatally struck by a military vehicle. "I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused by those words," he said. "While it's important that we express our opinions, I deeply regret the inflammatory and inappropriate language I used to do so." [Source]
