Police seize 87 cute little puppies stuffed into buckets

Looks like Cruella De Vil’s evil dognappers are back in business, only this time it's not Dalmatians they’re trafficking. U.K. police seized 87 puppies stuffed into buckets by thugs who were more than likely intending to sell them over the Christmas season. These weren't any old mutts (not that that would make it any better), these were purebred Westies, French bulldogs and Pomeranians, which translates into pure gold when they sell for about $1,200 each. The pups were whisked off to the vet while their captors were hauled off to jail. One more reason to pick up that Christmas puppy at a shelter — it will look just as cute with a bow around its neck.
