Pups found zipped in suitcase find loving new homes
5/23/2012Life is looking up for the adorable puppies found zipped into a suitcase and abandoned in an alley last month. The Toledo Area Humane Society received over 1,000 phone inquiries from folks across every state offering to adopt the pups and their mom, who was discovered pacing beside the bag. This week they've all gone home with new families, randomly selected from 132 hopeful doggie lovers. One proud new owner, Eddie Collier, said, "We feel so blessed to be chosen" -- and if the pups understood the incredible twist of fate that landed them in loving homes, we're sure they'd feel blessed, too.
