Quaint Aussie fog is actually a horrifying spider web

​Record flooding in Australia has forced more than 13,000 people to evacuate their homes, and authorities have ordered an additional 8,000 residents in the New South Wales town of Wagga Wagga to head for higher ground. But humans aren't the only ones forced to relocate. Spiders who make their homes along now-swollen riverbanks are seeking refuge as well, and their rebuilt communities are either one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen or a real-life nightmare. Photos from the area show what at first glance appears to be a gentle fog rolling across the countryside, but is actually a sea of insect-ensnaring webs.
