Catholic school says girls can't curse, but boys can
2/4/2013A Catholic high school in New Jersey has made female students take a "no-cursing" pledge even though male students can cuss all they want (though the boys were instructed to watch their sailor mouths around the ladies). Reinforcing tired gender roles — girls should act like clean, sweet ladies, while boys will be boys — teachers at Queen of Peace High School said they hoped a month of girls keeping their mouths clean will rub off on boys, too. We hope the school joins us over here in the 21st century sometime soon. [Source]
