Radioactive bluefin tuna swim from Japan to California

The 10 Plagues didn't include radioactive bluefin tuna, but they've arrived on the California coast nevertheless. The gargantuan fish apparently picked up the radioactive contamination while gorging on krill and squid near Japan's Fukushima nuclear reactor disaster area and swimming in the polluted waters. Scientists were surprised to find cesium-134 and cesium-137 in the fish's flesh: They expected the creatures would have metabolized any radioactive nasties during their epic migration across the Pacific Ocean and during their growth spurts, in which they can max out at a whopping 10 feet long and 1,000 pounds. Sounds scary, but scientists assure us that these tiny radioactive amounts still render the fish barbecue-safe.
