RallyCross driver clearly needs more practice on ramp jumps

RallyCross isn't the most spectacular of X Games events, and you'd suspect practice would be even less so. Ah, you'd be wrong. Even something as routine as a ramp jump is subject to fail, as Toomas Heikkinen discovered during run-throughs for Sunday's finals. Fortunately, the Finnish driver was able to crawl from his car as it began to catch on fire and escaped with only a broken ankle, which will give him some down time to brush up on the physics and geometry of his event. Best spectator reaction: "Maybe standing here isn't a good idea."
