Whip out your penis puns! Rare snake resembles a male member

8/1/2012

Scientists have identified six unusual-looking "blind snakes" found late last year at the bottom of Brazil’s Madeira River as the extremely rare species atretochoana eiselti. The discovery is surely exciting for herpetologists, but perhaps not quite as much as for the British tabloids, which are tittering like schoolboys about the slithery creatures' resemblance to a certain male appendage. The Sun has dubbed the lungless, limbless amphibian a "Man-aconda — the snake that looks like a penis," and wryly referred to it as a "trouser snake." The Daily Mail took the high road, instructing its readers to "please stop sniggering at the back." We, however, suggest you snigger all you want. [Source]
