Retiring Ray Lewis is back in Ravens lineup for at least one more game
1/5/2013When he suffered a torn triceps in October, it looked like the end of a career for Ray Lewis, and the 37-year-old Baltimore Ravens linebacker did indeed announce his retirement this week. But he'll have at least one more afternoon in uniform, as coach John Harbaugh announced Lewis is "ready to go" for Sunday's playoff game against the Colts. Lewis, who is reportedly close to a deal to work as an NFL analyst on ESPN, leaves a mixed legacy. Lewis is a fearsome linebacker and inspirational figure, but his reputation is still stained from the unsolved Atlanta stabbings in 2000 that left two men dead. Lewis ultimately pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in the case, though he initially faced murder charges. [Source]
