Pot plants in real estate ad turn out not to be an asset for homeowner
12/12/2012Rules to remember when taking photos to list your home on a real estate website — pick your dirty laundry off the floor, tidy up the yard and hide your pot plants. A presumably under-the-influence Australian man was arrested after he posted an ad to sell his house that contained a photo that prominently featured the marijuana plants he was growing in the backyard of his Adelaide home. The 28-year-old ganja green thumb was, of course, easily tracked once police were made aware of the ad. We imagine the listing also got numerous inquiries asking who the man’s gardener was. [Source]
