No creature does 'adorable terror' quite like the red panda
11/19/2012Red pandas don't earn quite as much admiration as giant pandas, but hopefully this video will start to turn things around for the l'il critters. It depicts what starts as an ordinary day for the red pandas, chilling out in their enclosure at Maruyama Zoo on the Japanese island Hokkaido. But things take a shocking turn when an enormous monster approaches and scares the bejesus out of one of the red pandas, who emits a horrifying shriek of terror. OK, it's not a monster — it's a zookeeper. And it's not a horrifying shriek of terror — it's an adorable croak of terror. Total fear never looked so adorable.
