MMA trainer cheerfully tweets his way through beating up muggers
9/8/2012Two would-be muggers picked the wrong victim on Manhattan’s Far West Side Thursday night: MMA trainer Renzo Gracie, who once fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Gracie, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert, was walking from his gym to his car when he was approached by two men. When they pounced, Gracie brought one to his knees, tweeting a picture of the felled assailant. The other guy took off, but Gracie soon tracked him down and “choked the man out,” but not before leaving him with two black eyes, and leaving Gracie with some nasty bruises on his hands. “I think it’s better than just arresting them,” Gracie said.
