Gun victims might be 'useful idiots,' rep tells Ted Nugent
2/27/2013It’s usually unrelenting gun enthusiast Ted Nugent who makes the breathtaking statements on weapons (and plenty of ’em), but this time the Nuge was bested at his own game by Texas Rep. Steve Stockman. In a conversation between the two men, Stockman weighed in on the victims of gun violence summoned to President Obama’s State of the Union address, questioning whether they were “props” or “useful idiots.” Thoughtful Nugent, who was a guest of Stockman’s at the address, offered: "I’m sure it is a two-edged sword, because our hearts go out to victims of crime. But it is never a result of lack of gun regulations." [Source]
