Server gets conked in the head for too many water refills

The line between ignoring customers and being overly solicitous is a narrow one for restaurant servers, but failing either way usually doesn't end up in assault. Not so at the Red Lobster in Fairview Heights, Ill., where an irate female customer hurled a glass and hit a waitress in the head for refilling the water too often. And in case the message wasn't delivered that this woman wasn't thirsty, she also whacked the server in the face with a dessert menu.
