The tiny town of 550 and its appendage of Pipestone are offering the cheap lots in hopes of capitalizing on a nearby oil boom. OK, the deal is actually a $990 rebate on a $1,000 down payment if you build a house within 12 months, and the plots are just 75 feet by 140. But there's been enough interest that the Pipestone website crashed after a blitz of 1.4 million hits. Land ho! [Source]
