Auburn football recruit backs out, but he's keeping the tattoo
12/8/2012Commitments made in football recruiting often aren't: High school players change their minds all the time. But a tattoo, as anyone who has one knows, is another matter. Reuben Foster, the nation's top high school linebacker, has pulled back from his pledge to Auburn University now that new head coach Gus Malzahn may not retain assistant Trooper Taylor, who's been wooing Foster. Nonetheless, he's keeping it, calling it a tribute to his "big cuz" Ladarius Phillip, an Auburn player killed in a summer shooting. [Source]
