Wife's 'revenge' billboard was a ridiculous marketing ploy
3/21/2013Revenge is a dish best served for marketing purposes. That’s apparently what drove a cockamanie billboard advertising campaign by a company that owns several restaurants in Greensboro, N.C. On Wednesday, a digital billboard owned by Kotis Developments showed an ad purportedly placed by a woman named "Jennifer" whose husband, "Michael," had been cheating on her, and aired their dirty laundry. On Thursday, another ad made it apparent that they were an ill-conceived marketing stunt. Supposedly from the jilted wife to her husband's lover, "Jessica," it told the other woman to meet her at "Yodaddy’s at 7:00 p.m. for some wine therapy."
