New device will let you control your computer with your eyes

1/2/2013

Don't look now, but soon you may be able to control your computer with your eyes. A new device called the REX, set to debut next week at the CES conference, includes a strip that attaches beneath your PC monitor and works with software to track what you're looking at on screen. This could allow you to do things like scroll and play games using only your gaze. The eye-tracking device, from a company named Tobii, will be released to consumers in the fall of this year. But the company will make only 5,000 of them, so if you want one, you'll need to sign up for a pre-order and keep your eyes peeled. [Source]
