Hateful movie reviewer refers to Melissa McCarthy as a hippo

The early reviews for Melissa McCarthy's new flick "Identity Thief" haven't been kind. The worst of the worst, though, came from the hateful keyboard of longtime New York Observer critic Rex Reed. The 74-year-old said that he'd lost several IQ points by watching "Identity Thief," and the next few paragraphs he wrote proved his point. A loss of brainpower is the only way he can justify his personal attacks on McCarthy, describing her as a "female hippo," "obese and obnoxious" and "tractor-sized."
