Man allegedly bites girlfriend's thumb off during worst commute ever

Oh, sure, we all laughed when "Charlie bit my finger," but this week's "Ricardo bit my finger" incident is far more freaky than funny. Ricardo Marquis Davis is in police custody after allegedly biting his sometimes-girlfriend's thumb off during a fight. "During the course of the drive to work, they got into a verbal argument," a Palm Bay, Fla., police spokeswoman said. "She kind of pushed his head and he responded by biting [her thumb.]" Davis reportedly bit her thumb completely off and spit it onto the floorboard of the car. The woman sought emergency medical treatment and is being advised by social services; doctors were unable to reattach her thumb. Davis is being held on charges of aggravated battery. [Source]
