Richard Branson says he asked Obama for a joint
3/17/2012Billionaire Virgin magnate Sir Richard Branson had a rather cheeky request for the Leader of the Free World at a White House state dinner this week. "I asked him if I could have a spliff. But they didn't have any," Branson told the crowd at the Atlantic Exchange panel on "Benchmarching the War on Drugs." Pot is pretty much illegal in the US and Branson's home, the UK, but Branson is a confessed recreational smoker and advocates ceaselessly for its legalization. Branson then tried to pass off the comment like it was a joke, but it's almost too easy to imagine the long-haired tycoon furtively stepping into a presidential bathroom for a quick drag.
Do you thing Branson was joking?
