Richard Branson says he'll take his kids into space in 2013
7/11/2012Richard Branson is counting down to the launch of his long-awaited space-tourism business. The British business magnate says his trailblazing latest venture, Virgin Galactic, which will rocket paying customers into space, is set to blast off on its first voyage next year. So far, 529 people -- including Ashton Kutcher -- have agreed to pay $200,000 for a two-hour sub-orbital space flight aboard Branson's SpaceShipTwo, the AP reports. But none of those people will get bragging rights as the company's first passengers. Those honors will go to Branson himself and his two grown-up kids, Holly and Sam. And you thought it was out of this world when your dad bought you a car.
Would you take a trip in Branson's spaceship?
