Two construction workers could have died on crane, but they overslept
1/17/2013Richard Moule and Nicki Biagioni should have been on a London crane that was hit by a helicopter Wednesday, killing two people and injuring 12. Freakishly, both construction workers turned up late for work for the first time in years. "I just woke up late," said Moule. "Call it divine intervention if you like." The men usually start their shift at 7 a.m., but when the chopper hit the crane at 8 a.m., both were still on the ground. Biagioni also owes his life to his three kids, who normally wake him up early but slept in for some unknown reason. [Source]
